Halloween is a spooky festival where everyone dresses up as their favorite frightful monsters to frighten others. Therefore, even if a nasty person who misbehaves in real life showed up dressed as the devil, no one would be afraid since it’s Halloween.
In the Halloween movies, at least, that is what happens. The murderer would murder individuals while disguising himself as a terrifying monster. There are already 12 films in the Halloween franchise, and a 13th one is in the works with a 2022 release date.

When Did Jamie Lee Curtis Make Her Debut In Halloween Movie?
In the 1978 horror movie Halloween, Curtis made his acting debut as Laurie Strode, the movie’s only main teenage character who survives unharmed. John Carpenter did not initially consider recruiting Curtis, and he did not consider doing so until he discovered that she was Janet Leigh’s (the star of Psycho) daughter.
Since Psycho made Janet Leigh a legend, Carpenter saw Jamie Lee Curtis’ employment as the ultimate homage to Alfred Hitchcock. Curtis was so unimpressed with her performance after her first day that she began to believe she would be let go.
That evening, when John Carpenter called Curtis, she was confident her acting career was over when her phone rang. Carpenter contacted her instead to congratulate her and let her know he was delighted with how everything turned out. Curtis was the only one of her co-stars who could be considered young because Nancy Loomis and P. J. Soles were both 28 years old.
The movie was a huge hit, earning fame as a classic horror movie. It was also considered the highest-grossing independent movie of its time. After her selection, Curtis appeared in several scary movies, earning the moniker “scream queen.”
Is Jamie Lee Curtis In Halloween II?
For the 1981 TV release of the first movie, Curtis shot new scenes starring her character just before Halloween II’s debut. She had to wear a wig that matched her original hairdo for the second film and the additional sequences for the TV adaptation of the first because Curtis had cut her hair much shorter by this stage than it had been three years earlier (One of the additional scenes noticeably has her wearing a towel on her head).

Her subsequent appearance in Halloween III: Season of the Witch included an uncredited voice performance. She makes two appearances in the movie—once as a telephone operator and once as a curfew announcer. When it became evident that a fourth Halloween movie would be made, the directors invited Curtis to return as Laurie Strode.
Curtis had created a career and had achieved success in the film industry. Curtis turned it down and said she didn’t want to keep acting in the movie. As a result, her character was eliminated, and she is said to have passed away.
Is Jamie Lee Curtis In Halloween H20?
Curtis wanted a Halloween celebration to mark her career’s 20th anniversary since it began in 1998 when she learned she had been in the industry for 20 years. John Carpenter declined when she inquired if he would be interested in directing the movie. The film would be produced and named Halloween H20: Twenty Years Later. Kevin Williamson allowed her to make some changes to the script.
Curtis would also get the opportunity to collaborate with her mother, who played Norma Watson. Because Laurie murdered the primary antagonist Michael Myers at the movie’s conclusion, it was assumed that the Halloween series was done. Curtis did concur that if there were a sequel, her part would be, at most, a cameo, and her character would die. She recasts Laurie for the “last” time in Halloween: Resurrection four years later.
