Youtube Sensation And Professional Rally Driver Ken Block Dies At Age 55 In A Snowmobile Accident!
A snowmobile accident claimed the life of professional rally driver Ken Block on Monday, according to his organization Hoonigan Racing. Block later rose to fame online for his dangerous driving antics. He was 55.
In a statement posted to Instagram, Hoonigan said, “It is with the utmost grief that we can report that Ken Block lost away in a snowmobile accident today.”
“Ken Block was a trailblazer, an innovator, and an idol. And most importantly, a husband and parent. His absence will be greatly felt.”
The incident happened on Monday in Wasatch County, Utah, when Block was riding on a steep hill, and the snowmobile overturned and fell on top of him, according to the Sheriff’s Office, which Reuters cited.

Although part of a group, the 55-year-old traveled alone when the tragedy occurred. At the scene, he was declared dead.
They added that although he was riding with a group, he was alone when the accident happened and was “declared died at the scene from injuries incurred in the collision.” His wife, Lucy, and three kids are still living.
When not driving electric stunt cars from Audi or race cars from Porsche, Ken Block spent most of his time engaging in various winter sports, such as operating UTVs, snowmobiling, and snowboarding.
The rally driver, also a co-founder of DC shoes, rose to prominence in the rally scene very swiftly. In addition to creating the popular Gymkhana video series, he also founded the Hoonigan brand.
Ken Block, who started his rallying career in 2005, won Rookie of the Year honors in the Rally America Championship. He participated in the World Rally Championship and earned numerous medals in rallycross competitions at the X Games.
Fans saw the American driving on dangerous roads and obstacle courses in the Gymkhana video series he created. Millions of people watched the series on YouTube.

On January 2, 2023, a snowmobile accident close to Ken Block’s property in Woodland, Utah, claimed his life at 55. According to the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office, Block was riding in the Mill Hollow region when his snowmobile overturned on a sharp incline and fell on top of him. At the scene of the collision, Ken Block was pronounced dead.
