How Did Zlatan Ibrahimovic Build His Wealth?
Ibrahimovi was signed by Malmö in 1999. He relocated to Ajax in 2001. He played for Ajax in the Eredivisie in 2001–02, scoring four times before the team was ousted from the Champions League by A.C. Milan. The 2004 “Goal of the Year” award went to his score against NAC.
Later that year, he was transferred to Juventus because teammate Rafael van der Vaart claimed that Ibrahimovic had purposefully harmed him. While playing for Juventus, he was honoured with the Guldbollen, presented to Sweden’s best footballer.

In October 2015, he surpassed Pele as PSG’s all-time leading scorer. After signing for free the following year, he immediately became a star for Manchester United, winning the FA Community Shield, Football League Cup, and UEFA Europa League in his first season.
Ibrahimovic joined the Los Angeles Galaxy in 2018. In 2020, he will return to Milan.
Ibrahimovic is one of ten players who have appeared 100 times or more for the Swedish national team. He scored 62 times, becoming the all-time leader in goals for a country.
On October 8, 2019, a statue of Ibrahimovic was unveiled in Malmö, his hometown, in front of the stadium. The monument is approximately 1,100 pounds in weight and is 8 feet 9 inches tall.
The sports documentary “Becoming Zlatan” premiered in February 2016. The film follows Ibrahimovic from his youth with Malmö FF and Ajax through his debut with Juventus in 2005. The film has appeared in several European film festivals.
In August of 2020, his contract with AC Milan will expire.
