Rapper 2 Chainz (born Tauheed K. Epps; September 12, 1977) is a stage name for the American musician formerly known as Tity Boi. While growing up in College Park, Georgia, he became friends with Earl “Dolla Boy” Conyers, with whom he formed the Southern hip hop combo Playaz Circle.
The group first gained attention with their first single “Duffle Bag Boy” (which featured Lil Wayne) in 2007, and Ludacris, another rapper from Georgia, signed them to his Disturbing tha Peace label.

2 Chainz has been arrested and charged with narcotics possession many times. In one of the most famous incidents, a police officer stopped 2 Chainz’s tour bus because he thought marijuana was being used on board.
The tour bus driver refused to allow the police officer check the vehicle, so the police officer had to tow the bus to the nearest station. After securing a warrant, police searched the vehicle and discovered many weapons.
