Banks said she is okay with her weight increase and intends to continue indulging in her favorite foods. America’s Next Top Model anchor has admitted that she often tries to find the best restaurant by ordering the same dish twice.

“I and my son and my boyfriend will line up all the eateries that serve the same thing and give each one a score,” she says. The next time you place an order, you’ll know exactly which restaurant to avoid because you’ll remember that one of them is consistently wrong.

Banks has previously attacked others who have made comments about her weight. In 2018, the supermodel admitted in an exclusive interview with ET’s Nischelle Turner that she almost let her producers re-film the segment from 2007 on The Tyra Banks Show in which she famously ordered her critics to “kiss my fat a**.”

“I felt that it was my duty to help. To be clear, I wasn’t thinking purely in terms of viewership. I felt pressured to say something like, “Kiss my fat a**,” because I feel like I need to be an influential, moral person. “To put it simply, she was generous. And I considered showing weakness by showing weakness myself—any emotion, any breaking, any tears—because I felt the weight of the world’s women on my shoulders.

Banks began her career with CoverGirl, an American cosmetics firm when she signed a deal with the corporation in 1993. Years later, she returned to the United States to continue her commercial modeling career. She made history as the first black model to grace the cover of Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issue and GQ magazine, both of which made their debut that year.

Banks’ modeling career opened doors for her and led to numerous TV appearances. As Jackie Ames, an old acquaintance of Will Smith’s, she made her television debut in seven episodes of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Aire. She appeared in the Disney film Life-Size starring Lindsay Lohan as Eve, a doll that comes to life in 2000. (The film’s sequel, Life-Size 2, featured Banks eight years later.)
