Makayla Noble Injury: A cheerleader from Prosper High School who sustained a severe spinal injury this week received an outpouring of condolences on Friday night.
According to her mother, Makayla Noble, 16, has an “extremely low” possibility of walking once more while in the hospital.
The 16-year-old was hurt in a “tumbling accident,” her mother, Jenn, wrote on Facebook.
Her loved ones are pleading for a miracle. The football game on Friday night also shows that the family has the support of the neighborhood.
It was requested that spectators at the football game against Little Elm wear purple in memory of Makayla because it is her favorite color.
The cheer squad and other fans also sported “Mak’s Warriors” jerseys. Additionally, posters could be seen throughout as expressions of support.
Before the game began, there was a moment of quiet.
The Prosper neighborhood has supported Makayla’s family by contributing $50,000 toward medical costs. The Little Elm neighborhood also sent a $1,900 cheque to the cause.
This week, Prosper ISD issued a statement endorsing Makayla.
“Our thoughts are with Makayla Noble and her family as they face a devastating injury. As always, the Prosper Community rallies around the family to provide support and love during this difficult time. Prosper ISD joins our community in our support and hopes for strength and recovery,” the district said. Do you want to learn more about celebrities?
