Brian Mullins Obituary: At the age of 49, Brian Russell Mullins of Kettering, Ohio, passed away on August 15, 2022. Brian was a man of the utmost morality and devotion. He attended Cedarville University and graduated from Valley View High School.
He honorably served his country for more than 6 years as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne in the U.S. Army, and for the past 23 years, he has worked as a mail handler for the Dayton Post Office.
In addition to being a fervent fisherman and a loving family man, Brian was also a bright conversationalist who was always up for the next big adventure. At Gathering Place Baptist Church for many years, Brian was a powerful Bible teacher and possessed an unbreakable faith.

In addition to his grandson Caleb, he is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Niki, and their four amazing children, Andrew (Maggie), Joshua, Tyler, and Grace. Bob and Shirley Woods, as well as his stepmother Connie Mullins, are his parents. His grandmother Emily Voiles, his brothers Amy (Ted), Steve (Jodi), Audra (Xavier), Doug, Jim, and Jeff, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, adoring relatives, and close friends.
Robert Voiles, his father David Ellis Mullins, his sister Jeni Woods, and his adored grandparents James and Marie Mullins predeceased him.
On Friday, August 26, 2022, the family will host visitors from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Centerville Chapel, 820 Miamisburg Centerville Rd. in Dayton. Pastor Dan Mullins will preside over the service, which will get underway at noon. At 2 PM, his funeral service will be followed by his burial at the Dayton National Cemetery with full military honors.
