Throughout her life, Suzanne amassed a collection of luxurious properties throughout Southern California. In 2008, Suzanne and her then-husband Alan put their 73-acre Palm Springs estate up for sale for $35 million. Since the 1970s, they’ve been the proud owners of this property.
The price was reduced by more than half in 2018, from $29.5 million to $14.5 million, and again in 2019, from $14.5 million to $9.5 million. Both the price and the land area were cut in 2020. Twenty acres were left of the original land. They agreed to take $8.5 million in May of 2021.
In 2018, they gave 480 of their formerly held acres in northern Palm Springs to the Coachella Valley Conservation Commission. They dropped $2.3 million for a Malibu mansion in 1999. They paid $2.35 million in 2001 to acquire the property next door. They had an unbelievable 190 feet of beachfront after the second acquisition.
In 2007, a fire wiped out the neighborhood. Both Suzanne and Alan’s parcels remained unoccupied after they made the decision to forego reconstruction and sell them in 2016 for $12.03 million.
In due time, a lavish palace of around 5,000 square feet was constructed on the land. The brand-new home was up for sale in late 2021 for $40 million. Despite a price cut to slightly under $30 million, it has not yet been sold as of this writing.
