The reality TV program “sMothered” on TLC examines unique mother-daughter relationships. Although mothers and daughters have long been known to have a close relationship, the ones depicted in “sMothered” are much more unique, unconventional, and intimate. Relationships on “sMothered” highlight how enduring the bonds can be, from sharing social media accounts to living as twin sisters to having elaborate bathing rituals. In the show’s first season, Angelica Michaux and her mother, Sunhe, appeared.
As they shared their bed and bathwater, which was seen as an “act of trust,” fans instantly became interested in the couple. However, Angelica’s bond with her mother threatened the future of her union with Jason. Sunhe’s persistent interference in the couple’s life also annoyed Jason. Angelica and Jason had already been dating for two years when season 1 of the show was produced. In Season 2, we learn how Jason ended his eight-year marriage to Viviana in favor of Angelica. Sunhe, though, didn’t appear to like her daughter’s partner. Their partnership also experienced other problems, the biggest of which was Sunhe traveling everywhere with them. Sunhe’s constant presence prevented Angelica and Jason from enjoying moments of solitude, further strained their relationship. Sunhe’s disdain was also apparent when the pair announced they had engaged. Additionally, there were rumors that Jason’s relatives disapproved of the relationship.
When Did Angelica And Jason Get Engaged?
Angelica and her companion Jason had a busy season. They got engaged and had their daughter Amara at the same time. But the couple experienced a lot of drama due to the engagement. Because Jason was already married, his mother was unhappy with the current engagement. She wants her son to marry for the right reasons because she doesn’t particularly like Angelica in general. She feels that a baby is not the proper justification. However, given that Angelica and Jason have been dating for five years, their relationship looks quite severe and engagement ring-worthy.

He doesn’t seem to be telling his mother, Toshiko, how important this bond is. That they have a date fixed for their wedding or that it might happen at any time. Are Angelica And Jason Still Together In 2022?
The sMothered couple did postpone their wedding, claims Starcasm. Jason and Angelica decided to call off not only their marriage but also their engagement. She acknowledges they are still together even if the wedding has been called off. Although it doesn’t seem like they plan to end their relationship, she believes they are not ready to take the plunge. Angelica continues, “I want Jason to desire this more, and right now, it doesn’t feel like that.” The failure of the wedding was also greatly influenced by their mothers.
Neither mother approved of the union. Angelica was unable to enter it, knowing this as a result. Sunhe expressed her belief that her daughter might perform better than Jason without hesitation. When Angelica decided against getting married, she rejoiced. She seems to be very optimistic that Jason will be permanently gone. They are still sharing a home for the time being, along with Amara. Nobody knows for sure what will occur in the future.
