Following a car accident on Monday, Arkansas cornerback Quincey McAdoo was taken to the hospital and is now in stable condition, the university reported on Tuesday.

According to a university statement on social media, McAdoo, a sophomore from Clarendon, Arkansas, had non-life-threatening injuries and was sent to Washington Regional Hospital.

“Yesterday morning, Quincey McAdoo was involved in an automobile accident. He was transported to Washington Regional Hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. He is in stable condition and recovering.”

“Our sole focus now is supporting Quincey during his recovery,” the statement said.

According to accident reports that KNWA was able to get, police officers arrived on the scene of a two-car rollover collision at roughly 8:15 a.m. local time.

McAdoo, a true freshman, started the season as a wide receiver before being moved to cornerback midway through.

McAdoo totaled 30 tackles, one sack, two interceptions, and six passes defended over the season’s final five games.
