Arlington Murder Suicide: SPRING, Texas – ARLINGTON, Texas – Firefighters in Arlington, Virginia, discovered the bodies of a 15-year-old girl and a 51-year-old woman with gunshot wounds. At about 5 o’clock on Thursday, police received a call about a suicidal person at a residence on Lynn Creek Drive. Shortly after that call, the house caught fire. After the fire was put out, police discovered the two women’s bodies. Likewise, now we can see people searching for Arlington Murder Suicide.
Crews initially discovered the 15-year-old; the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office and Arlington police later confirmed her identity as Maddie Prescott. The hospital where she was taken proclaimed her dead shortly after arrival. The coroner determined that her death was a homicide.
As crews continued their search, a 51-year-old lady was located inside the house with a gunshot wound. Authorities have not disclosed her identity or the circumstances of her death, but they have confirmed that she was Maddie’s relative.
Once she has been publicly recognized, detectives say they will release additional details regarding the relationship. Whether or not a firearm was discovered inside the residence and/or the total number of rounds fired is unknown. Who dialed 911 is also unknown.
FOX 4 contacted the Arlington Police Department to see if they treated this incident as a possible murder-suicide. There is no threat to the community, and authorities are not actively searching for any suspects, but officials cautioned that it is too soon to tell.
