Bayside Shooting: Authorities were still on the scene late Tuesday night after a 14-year-old girl died at a Bayside Park apartment from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
“If anyone has kids, stop what you’re doing and go hug them tight right now,” officials from the Bayside Fire Department posted on social media Tuesday. “This family has been through the worst nightmare tonight. Keep them in your thoughts & prayers!”
No one had been arrested as of Tuesday night at around ten o’clock, and no information was being made public as detectives looked into the incident on Bayside’s East Madison Street.
If the occurrence were intentional or unintentional, officials wouldn’t say.
