Da Brat Wedding: Jesseca “Judy” Dupart and Da Brat have been legally married. The wedding took place on February 22, 2022, with the couple recognizing the significance of the date to PEOPLE. The event took place in Fairburn, Georgia, at the Horse Mansion. Eva Marcille, Porsha Williams, and Kandi Burrus were among the famous visitors. Jermaine Dupri led Da Brat down the aisle, and Damon Dupart Sr. accompanied Dupart. LisaRaye McCoy, the sister of Da Brat, participated as a bridesmaid.
“For a time, we’ve been referring to each other as twin flames. Thus, this date—2/22/22—marks a momentous occasion. Because it only happens once in a lifetime, we didn’t want to miss it, Dupart said. “It’s pertinent. It simply has a significant impact on our relationship. It represents angelic numbers and is evocative of twin flames.
Even though they are now legally wed, the pair admitted that the wedding was only a public declaration of their eternal union. “We have a marriage already. The paper will only serve to solidify it, according to Da Brat. “However, she was never going away. I also wasn’t going to let her leave. So, we get to demonstrate our union to the outside world. It marks a turning point because occurrences like this were impossible in the 1990s.
“I met someone that made me want to be so loud and tell everyone and scream it from the mountaintops,” the platinum-selling rapper continued. So, I’m pretty appreciative of that. Like a weight had been lifted, I’ll tell you now that God sent her to me.
