Since Spiderman No Way Home came out, there have been a lot of rumors regarding Daredevil Season 4. Charlie Cox himself is fueling these rumors, so we are sure Daredevil content is brewing. And many are suspecting Daredevil Season 4 to release somewhere in 2022. But the show ended in 2018. Why will Netflix renew it after so long?
Even though Netflix announced that Daredevil Season 4 would not be renewed, fans are still hoping to get new Matt Murdock content. According to Cox, much time has passed since the 3rd season premiered. But he is hopeful that the creators will look into renewing the show as there are still many dangling storylines that need to be explained. He is promising, and so are the fans!
But even if Daredevil Season 4 does not happen, we’ll still be seeing Charlie Cox as Daredevil in other TV Shows. Kevin Feige admitted that Daredevil would be a part of the She-Hulk and hopefully Echo spin-off series. Other than that, everything mentioned below is all based on the news that is not verified.
Daredevil Season 4 Release Date
Daredevil Season 4 does not have a release date. Mainly because we don’t know whether Disney Plus will revive the show. As far as Netflix is concerned, they might renew it because of the sudden hype of Daredevil, but the chances of this happening are low.
Moreover, the character is supposed to feature in “Echo”, and even if Disney decides to make Daredevil Season 4, we’ll have to remain patient for a very long time. Because its production hasn’t even begun yet.
Daredevil Season 4 Cast
If Daredevil Season 4 is to come, then, of course, the main character will return in it. However, it is not confirmed if Charlie Cox will return. But the character won’t hold any essence if Cox does not play it. So, he’ll likely star in Daredevil Season 4.
As far as other characters are concerned, Elden Henson will also come back as Foggy Nelson, Wilson Fisk as Vincent D’Onofrio, Joanne Whalley as Sister Maggie, Stephen Rider as Blake Tower, and Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page.
There might be new characters, too, and as Marvel shows always feature cross overs, we might be getting an interesting one in Daredevil Season 4. But all of this is very far-fetched, and we first need the show to get renewed.
Daredevil Season 4 Plot
The first 3 seasons explored Matt Murdock’s life as both a lawyer and hero, but it remains uncertain what the future holds for the character. If he’s to appear in the same series, then there will be a new villain stirring trouble for him, but if he stars in some other show, then the character’s fate will be different.
As mentioned before, the show’s 3rd season came out in 2018, and since then, we did not receive any Daredevil content, so it is hard to predict the plot of Daredevil Season 4. But nothing to fret about! Because the 4th season is to come, the creators will let us know about the storyline through a plot analysis. The chances of Daredevil Season 4 happening are not satisfactory. The fans are hopeful, but the creators are not interested in reviving the show. But Disney has “soft-rebooted” many Marvel heroes back into the MCU. Similarly, we hope that the same fate awaits Daredevil. If not Daredevil Season 4, then at least we’ll get to see him in some other MCU show.
