Additionally, viewers will observe how the Doom Patrol members start to change their perspectives on their unique talents, which they previously perceived as curses.
Wade told CBR that “in this season, we’re able to look at what it means to take on these powers, accept them, and enjoy them while working as the Doom Patrol.” Here is all we know about season 4, including Doom Patrol’s time-traveling adventures and fights with aliens that resemble butts.

Showrunner Jeremy Carver expounded on the season’s plot points in a conversation with SFX Magazine. He revealed that Doom Patrol uses Madame Rouge’s time machine to travel to 2042, where they discover a post-apocalyptic world in which most of the team’s members have perished.
He told the journal, “The future the Doom Patrol encounters is gloomy, not just for humanity but also for themselves. “The main question of the season is basically, “Are we going to go so far to save our Doom Patrol that we wind up inflicting significant damage to ourselves?” which kicks off the season’s fundamental thematic assumption. And how much longer can they abuse themselves like that? As the season goes on, that causes some introspection.”
Added Carver, “We’ve spent a lot of effort in previous seasons going backward to discover how our Doom Patrol came to be. The Doom Patrol will travel to many periods this season, in both hilarious and moving ways.”
