Harry Styles And Olivia Wilde: The relationship between Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde has slowed down.
Multiple sources confirm exclusively to PEOPLE that the “As It Was” singer, 28, and the director of Don’t Worry Darling, 38, are “taking a break” from their relationship after nearly two years together.
“Continuing his tour, he is heading overseas. She’s a mom and a working woman in Los Angeles “claims one authority. It’s a mutually agreeable split.
Wilde was seen at Styles’ concert on November 15 in Los Angeles with her children Daisy, 6, and Otis, 8 (she co-parents with ex-fiancé Jason Sudeikis).
“They’re still very close friends,” says the source of the pair. Adds a friend: “Right now, they have different priorities that are keeping them apart.”

Styles and Wilde were initially associated in January 2021 following photos of them holding hands while attending a friend’s wedding. Styles, who is travelling abroad for his Love on Tour performances, was then linked to Wilde.
Fans last month noticed Wilde supporting Styles from the audience at his Harryween show in Los Angeles on October 31. The couple was captured in New York City’s streets kissing around the end of September.
How’s Their Relationshilp Progressed?
As their relationship progressed, Wilde and Styles had to put up with controversy surrounding the release of their movie Don’t Worry Darling, specifically persistent rumours that Wilde and the movie’s star, Florence Pugh, were at odds.
The friend claims that the pressure from the public has been challenging. “Throughout their partnership, there have been ups and downs.”
40 members of the production team and crew felt compelled to respond to the unending rumours in a statement that was released in September.
The team added that Wilde was “an amazing leader and director,” saying, “As a crew, we’ve resisted addressing the silly rumour around the movie we’re so proud of, but feel the need to correct the anonymous’sources’ stated in a recent story.”
The Booksmart filmmaker previously gave Vanity Fair this justification for her decision to keep her relationship with Styles private: “I don’t think you can be furious when mosquitoes come in after you crack open the window.”
Styles, on the other hand, stated to Rolling Stone in August that he also wished to maintain privacy in his personal life.
“I’ve never talked about my life away from work publicly and found that it’s benefited me positively,” he told the outlet. “There’s always going to be a version of a narrative, and I think I just decided I wasn’t going to spend the time trying to correct it or redirect it in some way.”

Wilde was frequently observed in the audience at Styles’ Love on Tour concerts and was frequently pictured wearing his paraphernalia, including a Love on Tour T-shirt, while out on coffee runs, even though the actress and the Grammy-winning singer never publicly acknowledged their relationship.
In July 2021, they were spotted cuddling on a boat in Monte Argentario, Italy, and in November, keen-eyed followers observed that Wilde was sporting what appeared to be the same gold cross necklace that Styles had on at the Grammys. Additionally, they were captured in a shot together in Italy in May.
Wilde did not specifically mention the former One Direction singer in a December 2021 Vogue interview, but she did state that she was “happier than I’ve ever been.”
“It’s obviously really tempting to correct a false narrative,” she said. “But I think what you realize is that when you’re really happy, it doesn’t matter what strangers think about it. All that matters to you is what’s real, and what you love, and who you love.”
