Honor officially announced today the Honor 60 series of phones, which includes the flagship version and the Pro version, and is available for pre-order today in the Chinese market.
Honor presented the new generation of its mid-range phones at an official event held today in the Chinese market, where the Honor 60 Pro phone comes as the first version in the market with a Snapdragon 778G Plus processor that is based on a 6-nanometer manufacturing accuracy, with a Kryo 670 central core at 2.5 GHz, and an Adreno graphics card. 642L, which offers 20% better performance.
Honor 60 and 60 Pro phones launch with OLED screens with a depth of 10 bits, support for a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and 100% colour coverage of DCI-P3 colours.
Honor 60 Pro and Honor 6 Specifications
The two phones also support HDR10 standards, which include HDR10 Plus in the Pro version, and the two phones differ in the external design, as the phone has a curved screen in the four directions of the screen, and the screen comes in the Pro version with a larger size of 6.78 inches.
While the primary version, Honor 60, comes with a curve on the side of the screen only at an angle of 58 degrees. And this version features a screen size of 6.67 inches.
In the rear camera settings, the main sensor comes with an accuracy of 108 mega-pixels, with a sensor size of 1/1.52, and the technology of merging 9 pixels into one pixel with a larger scope of 2.1 µm.
The Pro version comes with an upgrade in the camera, which has wide viewing angles of 122º, with a resolution of 50 mega-pixels. The camera also supports the auto-focus feature and supports macro shots with a focus at 2.5 cm.
While the Honor 60 phone comes with an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, while the last sensor comes with a 2-megapixel camera.
In the selfie camera, the Pro phone comes with a 50-megapixel sensor in a hole in the middle of the screen, with lenses with wide viewing angles of 100 degrees, while Honor supports its main version with a 16-megapixel selfie sensor.
The two phones also feature the ability to control the camera remotely via clear gestures, and both phones support a 4800 mAh battery, with 66W fast charging technology.
Honor 60 Pro and Honor 6
The new series is scheduled to be launched with the Android 12 operating system, with the Magic UI 5.0 interface. Also, the Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro phones are available today for pre-booking in the Chinese market at 425 dollars for the main model of the Honor 60 phone and 580 dollars for the main model of the Pro version.
