Is Alec Baldwin In Jail: A horrible and fatal event occurred ten months ago on the Rust film set. The incident happened in October of last year and left one person injured on the scene, in addition to the death of movie cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. This incident was caused by a weapon the actor was holding discharging.
After Halyna Hutchins passed away, the movie’s production was halted. The inquiry into the shooting got underway right away. Authorities are still looking for explanations for how something like this could have happened after ten months of investigation.
Investigation of the Rust Shooting Incident
The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office and New Mexico’s first Judicial District Attorney are looking into the situation. Investigations are being conducted into the incident on the Rust set involving Alec Baldwin, Hannah Gutierezz-Reed, and assistant director Paul Halls.
According to the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office, the Rust shooting case is being thoroughly investigated. According to sheriff detectives, they have the FBI forensic report and will send it to the OMI for examination. Additionally, they stated that they were still awaiting the actor’s call logs.
After reviewing the files, the detectives will report their findings to the district attorney. The District Attorney will then decide whether or not Baldwin will face charges.
Authorities think that many things may have happened on the set to enable such an occurrence to occur. According to the OSHA complaint, security is dependent on the setup and has shown a blatant disregard for employee safety.
OSHA Investigation Exonerates Alec Baldwin
The actor’s attorney cleared him following an OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) inquiry. The research concludes that the set’s safety precautions were not followed during the incident. The assistant director gave Baldwin the go-ahead to fire the pretend gun, ultimately killing Hutchins.
Several lawsuits have been brought against Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the film team, and Baldwin. Baldwin and Hannah Gutierrez are being sued by the head lighting director Serge Svetnoy for using deadly weapons carelessly on the movie set.
Hannah Gutierrez-attorneys Reed’s have also filed a complaint against PDQ Arm and Prop, alleging that the business supplied actual ammo in addition to dummy rounds. The armorer states that she was not in the church when the shot was fired and that she had checked the ammunition 15 minutes before the occurrence.
Baldwin maintains that he spent around an hour and a half going over the safety precautions with Hannah Gutierrez-Reed. Still, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed also said that Baldwin did not show up for the cross-draw training on October 15 and only.
However, a firearm expert who looked through the allegations claimed that producers and Hannah Gutierrez are both accountable for what took place on the film set, given how the weapon was handled.

Additionally, he said that the gun was supposed to be empty and that he had been given an empty weapon. He did not even think to check if she had been shot until Hutchins was hit. He claims that he believed Hutchins had passed out after being struck by the fake gunshot.
