In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar in January 2019, the Second Act actress spoke candidly about her search for a long-term relationship. “My experience with relationships has been a roller coaster.
But it had nothing to do with anyone else but me; it was all about me discovering myself. In order to be able to truly love someone else, you must learn to love yourself first. By doing so, you’ll be better able to cultivate loving, mutually beneficial relationships,” Lopez asserted. For me, there had to be an evolution in that area. It feels like things are going better for me at the moment.
Prior to marrying Marc Anthony, she was married to Ojani Noa (from 1997 to 1998) and then to Cris Judd (2001 to 2003), with whom she has twins Max and Emme. Between 2002 to 2004, she was engaged to Ben Affleck, and in 2019, she became engaged to Alex Rodriguez. Despite rumours of a divorce and the end of their two-year engagement, Us Weekly revealed in March 2021 that Lopez and Rodriguez were “working through certain things.”
A former divorcee, the singer admitted to Harper’s Bazaar in March 2018 that she had not given up hope of finding a lifelong partner. While filming Gigli, the Justice League actor and Lopez, dubbed “Bennifer” by the press, became engaged in November 2002.
