He had some success with his first single, “Money in the Bank,” which featured Young Buck and peaked at No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100. Lil Jon produced this album that featured guest appearances from 50 Cent, Three 6 Mafia, and other rap heavyweights. The album’s second song, “Gangsta Gangsta,” also features Lil Jon. Third from “Bred 2 Die Born 2 Live” came “Oh Yeah (Work),” which featured E-40 and Sean Paul (now simply Sean P.).

The second album of Lil Scrappy, titled “Prince of the South,” was released on May 13, 2008. Real Talk Entertainment handled the album’s distribution. Disturbing Tha Peace signed Lil Scrappy in April of 2009. Scrappy had already tried his hand at acting, and now he was in the middle of filming the hip-hop thriller “Just Another Day.”

After filming completed, he was supposed to begin a tour in support of his fourth studio album, titled “Tha Grustle.” However, the record was put on hold indefinitely in late 2011 at the earliest. After announcing his departure from Disturbing the Peace, Lil Scrappy said in 2012 that Bonzi Records would release the album.

From 2008 till 2011, Lil’ Scrappy was engaged to Diamond Carpentero. He dated co-star of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta Erica Dixon for a while, and the two of them have a daughter named Emani. For many years, the couple’s relationship was on-and-off due to Lil Scrappy’s numerous affairs.

Even though he was dating Shay Johnson for a spell, many of their admirers believed there was still romantic chemistry between him and Dixon. The pair remains devoted to co-parenting their daughter and creating the best environment they can for her.

Adiza “Bambi” Benson became Lil’ Scrappy’s wife in 2017. Breland, their first child, was born in September of 2018. The news of their second pregnancy came out in February of 2020.
