She worked at the White House throughout George H. W. Bush’s presidency, and when Bill Clinton took office in 1993, she resumed her employment. In the summer of 1994, senior White House employees wanted Tripp out of the White House, so she was transferred to the Pentagon’s public affairs office, receiving a $20,000 annual raise.

Tripp did have a series of plastic surgery procedures commencing in late 1999. She told the National Enquirer that she had a nose operation, chin tuck, neck reduction, face peel, and liposuction performed by West Hollywood plastic surgeon Geoffrey Keyes.

She also lost 40 pounds toward her overall goal of 60 pounds. Tripp’s plastic surgery is unknown, but one expert estimated it would cost at least $30,000.

Linda Tripp Before And After Surgery

Tripp admitted that she had plastic surgery to boost her appearance for her upcoming wiretapping trial in Maryland. However, it appears that she was tormented about her appearance due to the revelations and media intrusion. Tripp’s portrayal on Saturday Night Live by John Goodman in 1990 is just one example of the media mockery he endured.

On the other hand, Linda is shown in American Crime Story watching a Saturday Night Live parody and claims to have been bullied as a teenager, with kids calling her “Gus” after the NBA player Gus Johnson. Tripp died on April 8, 2020, at 70, from pancreatic cancer.

Linda In Clinton’s Scandal

Linda Tripp had an essential role in the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal in 1998. Because of their linkages to the earlier Clinton v. Jones lawsuit and the exposure of sensitive information, Tripp’s activities in secretly recording Monica Lewinsky’s private phone calls concerning her relationship with President Bill Clinton caused a commotion. Tripp claimed her reasons were patriotic, and she escaped wiretapping charges by agreeing to turn over the tapes.

She later claimed that her firing from the Pentagon at the end of the Clinton administration was vindictive. At the same time, the government defended her firing as standard procedure for a political appointment. From 2004 until 2008,

Tripp and her husband, Dieter Rausch, owned and ran The Christmas Sleigh, a year-round holiday boutique in Middleburg, Virginia. Keep yourself updated with all the latest news from our website Newswatchlist.com and get all the recent updates.
