Lockdown At Mall of America Lifted Following Alleged Shooting!

Mall of America Shooting: According to Bloomington Police Chief Booker Hodges, the incident occurred on the Nordstrom store’s first floor at around 7:50 p.m.

After hearing the shots, a Bloomington police officer arrived on the site. When the shooting victim was discovered, the cop, who had been in a neighboring business, tried to save him but was unsuccessful.

Hodges claimed that security footage demonstrated a brawl involving five to nine individuals before the victim was shot “several times.”

“This is ridiculous,” Chief Hodges said. “I mean, this is just flat-out stupid.”

The inquiry is ongoing, and no one has been taken into custody. The police chief begged the suspects to come forward and urged the people not to assist them in any manner.

“If anybody helps these people — I mean so much as buy them a Happy Meal, give them a ride, we’re going to lock you up with them,” he said.

A gunshot touched an uninvolved bystander’s jacket, Chief Hodges continued, but they were unharmed.

Hodges continued by saying that the Mall of America is “examining the idea” of installing metal detectors.

At the mall, injuries have been caused by other gun-related events this year.
