Sean Love Combs (born Sean John Combs; November 4, 1969), also known by his stage names Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, or Diddy, is an American rapper, musician, record producer, record executive and actor.
Combs, a Harlem native who got his start as a talent director for Uptown Records before starting Bad Boy Records, launched his own company in 1993. Combs is responsible for the success of musicians including Mary J. Blige, Usher, and the Notorious B.I.G.

Known by his stage name P. Diddy, the rapper, musician, record producer, entrepreneur, and fashion designer has a fortune of $900 million. In addition to his own musical and business endeavors, Diddy is widely recognized as the founder and CEO of the record company Bad Boy Entertainment.
The Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. According to a legal document submitted in June 2023 in the wake of a lawsuit brought by Diddy against Diageo, in the years between 2007 and 2023 Diageo paid Diddy $1 billion for his work with the corporation. That’s probably a lot more money than he made from his music career.
P. Diddy Private Matters
Combs has a large family, as he has seven kids. In 1993, he and his wife, the designer Misa Hylton-Brim, welcomed their first child into the world. From 1994 to 2007, he was in an on-again, off-again relationship with Kimberly Porter. Their blended family now includes three children: a son, twin daughters, and a son adopted by Combs from Porter’s previous relationship.
Porter died in November 2018 from complications related to pneumonia. Combs also shares parental responsibilities for a daughter with Sarah Chapman, whom he wed in October 2007. From 2007 till 2018, Diddy dated model Cassie Ventura. His seventh child with Dana Tran was a daughter born in October of 2022.
Combs has a history of legal trouble. During a night out with his then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez in December 1999, he was shot at while visiting Club New York in Manhattan. After a police probe, Combs and fellow rapper Shyne were jailed on weapons charges.
Combs was subsequently charged with four weapons-related offenses and bribing his driver to claim ownership of his gun, and underwent a highly publicized trial. In 2001, he was arrested in Florida for driving with a suspended license.
P. Diddy Actual Property
Diddy spent $2.45 million buying an East Hampton mansion in 1998. This is where his infamous White Parties would be held. At its peak, he was charging as much as $200,000 a month to rent this property. In 2020, he made $4.7 million off the sale of this property.
Diddy spent $4 million bought a mansion on 3.5 acres in Alpine, New Jersey, in 2004. In 2007, he tried to sell this house for $9 million, but no one was interested. In 2016, he sold the building for $5.5 million, marking the end of his ownership.
The 17,000-square-foot property in the posh LA suburb of Holmby Hills cost P. Diddy $39 million and was purchased in September 2014. The home was built on spec by developer Nile Niami. There is a grotto and an underwater tunnel in the pool at Diddy’s Beverly Hills property. There’s a theater that seats 35 people, with a wine cellar, massage parlor, beauty salon, and steam room.
The home is in close proximity to the infamous Playboy Mansion. Diddy purchased a mansion for Kim Porter, the mother of his children, for $5.25 million in 2009. Unfortunately, Kim passed away in 2018. In 2022, he made $6.5 million with the sale of his Toluca Lake mansion.
In August 2021 Diddy paid $35 million for a mansion on Miami’s Star Island that was being sold Gloria and Emilio Estefan. The house has 240 feet of waterfront and a lot size of 1.3 acres. Since 2003, Diddy has owned the next property.
