Reginald Howard White was a professional American football defensive end who played for fifteen seasons in the NFL between 1980 and 2004. He was born on December 19, 1961, and died on December 26, 2004. White was a consensus All-American while playing college football for the Volunteers of Tennessee.
After two years of professional football with the USFL’s Memphis Showboats, he was drafted in the first round of the 1984 Supplemental Draft by the NFL. He went on to play for the Eagles, Packers, and Panthers, earning more awards than any defensive player in NFL history.

He was named a Sophomore All-American this year. He was selected as a Preseason All-American during the 1992 season. Despite missing time due to injuries as a junior, he still managed to rack up 47 tackles, including 36 solos.
