Rob Zombie Wife: The love between Rob Zombie and Sheri Moon Zombie is unbreakable! Early in the 1990s, the metal singer-turned-horror filmmaker first met his future wife in Connecticut. The two clicked right away and moved in together after just one month.
After that, Sheri traveled with Rob whenever he went on tour with White Zombie. She eventually worked as a dancer, choreographer, and costume designer for Rob’s solo concerts. The pair were married in 2002 on Halloween, fittingly after nine years of dating.
Rob and Sherri worked together on a variety of projects, such as the White Zombie music video “Living Dead Girl,” Rob’s debut feature film House of 1000 Corpses, and his Netflix film adaptation of the 1960s TV sensation The Munsters. She Is A California Girl Originally From The East Coast
Sheri was born and raised in Plainville, Connecticut, and left for California immediately after graduating high school. She traveled back home a few times and even went to broadcasting school there to create voiceovers and animation, but she now sees herself as a native Californian.
Sheri stated on the blog Girls and Corpses that the age of seventeen was too early to leave the state and live independently. “I mean, I wanted to play and have fun without worrying about anything, but eventually, you have to have a job. So when I was younger, I was a bit of a wild child.”
The Zombies have New England roots because Rob was born in Haverhill, Massachusetts, up north. When the singer appeared with White Zombie at Toad’s Place in New Haven, Connecticut, he ran into Sheri.
In 2013, she reminded her husband during an interview with the New York Post, “I was somewhat rude to you the first night we met, right?” and Rob sighed, “Yes.”
She And Rob Got Married On Halloween!
Before getting married on Halloween in 2002, Rob and Sheri were a couple for nine years. Rob told the New York Post, “It seems like we’re trying to be all spooky and weird, but that wasn’t the plan. Sheri said that it was “somewhat by chance” that they got married on October 31.
We were enjoying a walk in the neighborhood when we decided to elope even though we had been dating for nine years and hired a wedding coordinator and other pointless details. “The best thing we did was that. I was overjoyed.”
And yes, Zombie is their legal last name. In 1996, Rob legally changed his last name from Cummings to Zombie, and after the couple got married, Sheri did too.
She Regularly Works With Rob!
Sheri began accompanying Rob on tour when he was a member of White Zombie. She took on a more significant role when he went solo, acting as a dancer, choreographer, and costume designer.
However, Sheri’s work with her spouse as an actress is what she is best known for. She made her television debut in the music video for White Zombie’s “Feed the Gods” and appeared in 11 Rob Zombie videos in addition to three more White Zombie ones. Her most well-known appearance in a music video was in “Living Dead Girl,” a parody of The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari.
Sheri later transitioned from on-camera work to starring in many of Rob’s horror movies, such as 1000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects, and The Lords of Salem.
According to Rob, “both of our first movies were together.” So the question was, “Do you know what you’re doing? “and the response was, “No. “No,” but “let’s do it anyhow!”
Sheri has tried her hand at acting roles outside of the horror genre, such as guest appearances on Californication and CSI: Miami episodes. However, she has previously stated that she is comfortable creating projects alongside her husband.
She And Her Husband Had A “Typical” Courtship
The early years of the Zombies’ relationship were anything but frightening, despite the many years they have invested in the horror genre. She said, “He’s not that much of a nerd,” in response to the New York Post’s inquiry about if their dates involved horror movies and activities. They chose to go on more conventional dates, such as supper and strolls down the Santa Monica pier.
She Is A Vegan And Animal Activist!
Sheri and Rob are both pro-animal rights and vegans. The couple received the Woodstock Warrior Award at the 14th Annual ThanksLiving Gala of the Woodstock Sanctuary in 2019 in recognition of their efforts to end animal violence. Rob Zombie, a duck bearing his name, received a dedication of their award from Rob.

“As everyone in this room is aware, advocating for animals and choosing to live a vegan lifestyle can alienate people because they believe it uncool. They’re not cool, but actually, it’s incredible, “Revolver reported what Rob allegedly remarked at the time.
