Samsung To Showcase Innovative Projects At CES 2023: At the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Samsung Electronics will present some of the new, inventive projects that have come out of its C-Lab (creative lab) initiative.
According to a blog post by the firm, Samsung has successfully sponsored more than 500 startups and initiatives over the past five years.
The IT behemoth will share details about eight firms funded by C-Lab Outside, the company’s startup acceleration program, its internal venture program, and four projects from C-Lab Inside.
The company anticipates that entrepreneurs from its C-Lab will be able to “strengthen their business feasibility and have meetings with possible investors” at CES and engage the worldwide market for their innovations.
The chosen C-Lab Inside ventures includes “Porkamix,” a metaverse interactive concert experience, and “Meta-Running,” a metaverse learning platform.
“Startups enrolled in the C-Lab Outside program are provided with office workspaces, expert mentoring from Samsung employees, and digital marketing & financial consulting,” the tech giant said.
The eight selected C-Lab Outside startups include “NEUBILITY,” a self-driving robot delivery service, and “CELLCO,” a micro-bionic eye for retinal illness patients.
In 28 different product categories, the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) revealed the winners of the CES 2023 Innovation Awards last month. “Projects from the C-Lab startups got two Best of Innovation Awards,” the CTA reported.
Samsung Electronics President and Chief Financial Officer Hark Kyu Park stated, “We expect that C-Lab companies will be able to more aggressively pursue the global market and highlight the greatness of Korean entrepreneurs.
