It might sound like a rumour, but Snowpiercer Season 3 is finally returning to the screens after waiting for so long. And the exciting part is that the series has reportedly been renewed for two more seasons. So does this mean we are getting the 4th instalment as well? Well, let’s find out!
The sci-fi series garnered many positive reviews, and fans have been looking for new content for quite some time now. The show has kept fans on the edge of their seats with its unique post-apocalyptic storyline full of twists and turns. Gear up for a lot of content from the franchise because the co-creators sound very enthusiastic about this project. In their words:

The second season ended on a significant cliffhanger, Layton and Ruth both got banished, but they decided to reclaim the train. And things work out until a point. Snowpiercer Season 3 Release Date
Snowpiercer Season 3 will hit the screens via TNT on 24th January 2022. Episodes will follow the weekly schedule, but the episodes will become available on Netflix after their release for international viewers. But what about its 4th season? Well, the great news is that the co-creators have confirmed that there will be a 4th season. Sadly we do not have a release date for it so far. Hopefully, it will get released somewhere in 2023.
The third season took so long for its release because of the uncertainties caused by Covid. But hopefully, in the future, we won’t have to face such issues. Nothing substantial can be said about the release date of Snowpiercer Season 4.

Snowpiercer Season 3 Plot
The sci-fi show follows a post-apocalyptic storyline—the handful of humans who survive the apocalypse travel collectively in a train. Similar to the real world, there is prejudice in there too. One part lives their life luxuriously while the other finds it hard to even get through a day alive.
The show is based on a movie of the same name, but the third season will deviate from that storyline as most content has already been discussed. The central theme will again be climate change. The world started to get warmer, and it appeared to be the train’s fault. What will the passengers do about it? And with a revolution on its brink, who will survive another attack? Well, it seems like all these queries will get resolved once Snowpiercer Season 3 goes on air.
