Theo Von’s birth date is March 19, 1980, in Covington, Louisiana, and his birth name is Theodor Capitani von Kurnatowski. He has two younger sisters and an elder brother and is the son of the late Roland Theodor Achilles von Kurnatowski and Gina Capitani.
According to an interview he gave in 2018 to “The Press-Enterprise,” Theo once stated, “Humor is a free currency not everyone can have.” As a poor child, that was all I had power over. I didn’t have any say over the economy, but I could decide whether or not to be hilarious.
After finishing high school in Mandeville, Louisiana, Von went on to complete his education at Louisiana State University, Loyola University New Orleans, College of Charleston, University of Arizona, and Santa Monica College, finally graduating from the University of New Orleans in 2011.

Von purchased a 4,918 square foot property in Nashville, Tennessee in March 2021 for $1,645,000. Former Vanderbilt head coach Derek Mason, who he bought the house from in 2014 for $1.095 million, sold it to him. He also has a residence in the City of Angels.
