Andrew Schimmer Wife: When Andrew Schimmer announced this afternoon on Tuesday, December 20, that his wife, Jorhomy Reiena Rovero (or Jho), had died away, it was a painful moment for him.
Andrew revealed what had occurred to his wife in a touching Facebook video.
He received a call from St. Luke’s Hospital while filming Family Feud informing him of Jho’s status.
“Inabutan natin siya actually nire-revived nung ating mga doctors and nurses. They did everything they could, masakit lang,” he said. “Gusto ko lang ibalita sa inyo. Guys maraming, maraming, maraming salamat sa mga nagdasal. Ang sakit lang kasi, birthday ng bunso namin mamaya. Hindi siya naabutan ng bunso namin.”
Netizens flooded Andrew’s post with condolences, offering their support and prayers during this trying time of his life.
“Remain strong for your kids,” said Florian Garcia Lee in a post. Jo, please rest in peace. I apologize for your loss; mahigpit yakap.
Meanwhile, Sherlin Toriano Relatos said, “She fought the good fight. May her soul rest in peace. My condolences to the bereaved family.”
After nearly a year in the hospital, Jho will finally be sent home, according to Andrew’s announcement on October 10. They had to hurry her back to St. Luke’s Medical Center for additional treatment a week after she had left.
In a subsequent Facebook video in November 2021, Andrew expressed his conviction that his wife would fully recover despite the setback. Then he declared, “I’ll push through. I swear to you that we shall continue. I won’t give up. I won’t give up.
“Hanggang sa makita niya noh, na okay na okay na siya. Hanggang sa makita n’yo na siya mismo ‘yung nag-update sa inyo, hindi na ako. I will never stop!”
Jho had to spend several months in the hospital after having a severe asthma attack that resulted in cardiac arrest and a shortage of oxygen to the brain, according to GMA News Online. Do you want to learn more about celebrities? Visit our website, Newswatchlist.com, for the most recent news.
