According to reports, David Hollis, a former Disney executive, died on Saturday, February 11, at 47. His family issued a formal statement after learning of his passing.
Variety claims that Hollis passed away at his Austin, Texas, home. Hollis’ family disclosed that he had just been hospitalized for cardiac problems, even though no specific cause of death has been identified as of the time of writing.

Author and motivational speaker Rachel Hollis, David Hollis’ ex-wife, also posted about his untimely death on Instagram. She shared a picture of a black square with white lettering stating that the loss had crushed his family.
Rachel also mentioned that she has “no words” and her heart is “too broken” to find words to describe the situation. She also asked her followers to keep their children in their prayers while the family “navigates through the unthinkable.”

He added that his wife’s post with their memories made him feel “embarrassed for a vision of a future that wasn’t shared.”
