Jared Leto’s Morbius Gets Deferred In The Midst Of Omicron Spike; Will Hit The Screens On This Date

The Sony-Marvel release has unfortunately been postponed. The movie was scheduled to release in January, but now Morbius will release somewhere in mid-2022. But is Omicron the main reason behind this delay? You’ll read about it in the article below!

Morbius is an upcoming supernatural hero from the Marvel comics. The movie has Jared Leto in the lead, naturally many people were looking forward to its release. Morbius will be the third movie in the Spider-man Universe shared by Sony Pictures and Marvel. Mobius becomes a vampire after he attempts to cure a rare blood disease. But is he a hero or a villain? Well, he is neither! He is an anti-hero.

The main reason why the movie is not coming out in January is because of the Omicron variant. There has been a surge in the cases, and considering the recent success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the creators do not want to take any risks. By the end of January, there might be lockdowns, due to which the movie can suffer a drastic loss. Hence to avoid it, the release date has been pushed back. Does this mean that the movie will get released on a streaming site? We are unsure about that, but if Omicron gets out of hands, then yes, the creators will have to go for this decision.
