The story is set in a universe where the conflict between the Hero and the Demon Lord has yet to be resolved. Both of them attack each other endlessly, wreaking havoc over the land. A massive space-time spell fails to find its intended target and instead strikes a Japanese high school. In the end, it kills every pupil in the building.
All of the students are reincarnated and moved to a new globe miraculously, as well. As it turns out, a few of them are monstrously powerful creatures. There are other high-class groups that they find themselves in as well. Although a sweet girl is converted to an “average” spider monster, she is still a sweet girl. Shiraori is her name. She doesn’t get any special powers beyond her general awareness of people and her positive outlook on life. She is, in fact, the show’s lead character.
Shiraori rapidly learns that she is among the planet’s most vulnerable species in a world overrun with ferocious and untamed predators. She has no choice but to put up with their adversity. When she comes to that realisation, she chooses to take up arms against these heinous monsters to effect some long-overdue change in the world.

We still haven’t heard if So I’m A Spider So What Season 2 will be renewed, but we expect to know by early 2023. Like season 1, season 2 will probably have 20 to 25 episodes, and each one will run for about 25 minutes.
