The song “You,” which McRae co-wrote with Troye Sivan and DJ Regard, was also a big smash that year.

McRae released the lead song from her upcoming debut studio album, “I Used to Think I Could Fly,” called “Feel Like Shit,” in late 2021. The song was a major hit worldwide, reaching the top charts in places including Norway, Ireland, Canada, Sweden, and South Africa. Then, in February 2022, McRae dropped “She’s All I Wanna Be,” the second song from her upcoming album. In March, she dropped “Chaotic.”
