Actor Brad William Henke Passes Away At The Age of 56!
Brad William Henke, a veteran actor, best known for his work on “Orange Is the New Black” and “Justified,” has passed away, his publicist confirmed to CBS News on Thursday. He was also a former NFL player. Age-wise, he was 56.

Brad According to IMDb, William Henke had numerous film and television credits beginning in the mid-1990s. He is said to be best known for his part in “Orange Is the New Black” as prison security guard Desi Piscatella. He and the actors were recognized for it in 2017 with a Screen Actors Guild Award for best ensemble in a comedy series.
Other significant credits were “Draft Day,” “Justified,” “Lost,” and “October Road.” He most recently appeared in the zombie miniseries “The Stand.”
Before becoming an actor, Brad William Henke was a professional football player. He was a defensive lineman for the University of Arizona throughout his collegiate career and was selected by the New York Giants in the fourth round of the 1989 draught.
He signed with the Denver Broncos after being released by the Giants, and he played for them for one season, making an appearance in Super Bowl XXIV in 1990. According to Variety, he switched from playing football to acting after suffering injuries.

The actor admitted, “I narrowly managed to survive a 90% blockage of my artery. “I might have had a heart attack at any time, but I just had it corrected.” Brad’s final words on the video now seem tragic: “The rest of my time in this world is a gift, and I’m going to take advantage of it.”
Brad’s manager Matt DelPiano referred to him as a “really gifted actor [who] loved being a part of this group… and we loved him back. His wife and family are in our prayers.” Jen Euston, a casting agent, posted the information on social media with the following message: “This is shocking. Brad, take some time to rest. I appreciate what you did for OITNB. You won’t be forgotten.”
