Robert Himber Obituary: How Did Robert Himber Die?

Robert Himber Obituary: 53 years old and already dead. Robert Himber is a giant in more ways than one, except for size. It was extraordinary meeting you and staying with you recently in Pennsylvania; I never imagined it would be our final get-together. Writing about our brother Robert (Bob) Himber’s death yesterday brings me deep pain.

Many years ago, he relocated to Highland Park, New Jersey. In Amicable-St. John’s Lodge, he was raised. We know very little about his abrupt death. He also leaves behind his mother, other relatives, and his two cherished children. As near to Bob’s blood brother as Andy Diamond, one of our brothers, told me this morning.

Bob was a Shriner and most recently belonged to the Mt. Zion Lodge in New Jersey. I am informing our club’s member Robert (Tzvi) Himber—son of David Himber—of his passing with the utmost grief.

“robert himber, you will be perpetually missed, yet always remembered,” the sheriff’s specialization said in a proclamation. “All we expand our affection, petitions, considerations, and sympathies to robert himber, companions and associates.”

In the lodge, Bro. Robert Himber was a great guy to be around. Perpetually joyful and giggling. Who Is Robert Himber?

Rabbi Himber, the son of the long-running director, was Tzvi’s life, and he drank CDG. He was raised at camp, celebrated his bar mitzvah there, and went on to manage the alumni association for many years. Through several scholarship initiatives, he played a crucial part in assisting many kids to attend the camp in that capacity.

He had just started a volunteer organization to assist the elderly in building their sukkas, and he was always ready to help those in need of guidance or a sympathetic ear.

The loss of Tzvi has left us heartbroken. Our sincere condolences go out to Rabbi David, Ilene Himber, his parents, his sister Alana, and their children. For them and the entire CDG family, may he be a Melitz yosher. Follow Newswatchlist.com for more information.
