Dobbs had 192 passing yards and two rushing scores against the Crimson Tide in the 34-20 defeat.

Dobbs took over as Tennessee’s starting quarterback in 2015. He started and saw action in all 12 regular-season games and the bowl game. Dobbs recorded 205 passing yards, two touchdowns, 89 running yards, and one rushing score in Tennessee’s 59-30 win over the Bowling Green Falcons on September 5 at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.

Dobbs recorded 125 passing yards, one passing touchdown, 12 rushing yards, and one rushing touchdown in a 2OT 31-24 loss against the #19 Oklahoma Sooners in Tennessee’s 2015 home opener.

Dobbs had a season-high 136 rushing yards and a 58-yard receiving touchdown thrown by teammate wide receiver Jauan Jennings on a trick play in a 28-27 loss to SEC East foe Florida at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

Professional Career

Dobbs was invited to the Senior Bowl and was chosen as the South’s starting quarterback. As the South defeated the North 16-15, he completed 12-of-15 throw attempts for 102 yards and an interception. Most NFL draft gurus and commentators expected him to be drafted in the fourth to the fifth round.

NFL analyst Mike Mayock said he’d be picked in the second round, while NFL.com predicted he’d be prepared in the third round.
