Rising MMA Sensation Victoria Lee Dies At 18!

At the age of 18, ONE Championship atomweight Victoria Lee dies.

The Valley of the Temples Memorial Park and Funeral Homes in Kaneohe publicly announced her death on Friday, December 26, in Hawaii, and her sister Angela Lee, the ONE Atomweight MMA Champion, verified it on Saturday.

The cause of death for Victoria Lee is unknown. A memorial service was planned before her interment on January 22.

In a post on Instagram, Angela Lee stated that her family had “experienced something no family should ever have to go through” on December 26, 2022.

“To explain this is tough… Victoria, who was ours, died. Our family has been crushed ever since she passed away too soon.

‘We miss her,’ greater than everything in the world. It will never be the same for our family. Nothing will ever be the same again.

At ONE on Prime Video 6 on January 14 in Bangkok, India’s Zeba Bano and Victoria Lee were scheduled to square off in Victoria Lee’s fourth professional fight.

In February 2021, “The Prodigy,” the younger sister of ONE’s lightweight and welterweight MMA champion Christian Lee, made her professional MMA debut with the organization. She defeated Thailand’s Sunisa Srisen via rear-naked choke just over a minute into the second round.

In less than four minutes, she defeated China’s Wang Luping in her second battle, which took place in July of the same year. She did it by armbar.

“During this extremely trying time, kindly show kindness and respect to our family. And do not forget to check on your loved ones. Inspect them frequently. Hug them and let them know how much their presence means to you. One can never be sure.

When Was Victoria Lee Born?

In Wahiawa, Hawaii, on May 17, 2004, Victoria Sun-hei Lee was born. Her 17-year-old brother Adrian Lee, who won an amateur MMA title on December 18 in Hilo, Hawaii, had also lived in Mililani with her parents, Ken and Jewelz Lee.

In her final Instagram post, Lee stated that she was “very proud of my little bro for winning the Toughman Pankration World Title (2nd round top guillotine).

Any gifts given in Victoria’s honor should go to the Hawaii Food Bank, per the Lee family’s desire.

The announcement on Saturday shocked the whole ONE Championship community.
