Another member of Sister Wives is getting married! The 21-year-old daughter of Christine and Kody Brown, Gwendlyn Brown, revealed her engagement on Wednesday by posting many pictures of the proposal on Instagram.
“I’m engaged!!,” Gwendlyn captioned pics of herself and her new fiancée, Beatriz Queiroz, sitting on a blanket in the snow with candles around them.
A mirror selfie of Gwendlyn’s new ring, which has a substantial rectangular-cut emerald and clusters of diamonds on either side, was also posted.
Eight months into their relationship, the pair revealed in August that they had moved in together.

On the TLC series about her family, Gwendlyn has been open about her sexuality. She discussed the kinds of people she is interested in on a Sister Wives episode that aired in October.
“I’m bisexual. I’m not only attracted to women. I’m also attracted to men and people that fall into other gender spectrums,” Gwendlyn stated in her confessional interview.
Christine, Gwendlyn’s mother, discussed her awareness that her daughter was not straight in the episode. She said that this realization had been sparked by Meri Brown, her former sister-in-law, and her kid, Mariah (now Leon), who had first revealed that they were gay.
“When Mariah told us she was gay, I thought immediately, ‘Oh, so is Gwendlyn,'” Christine said of her daughter. “I knew immediately. We’ve had just great conversations about it.”

The Brown family has had other LGBTQ members before Gwendlyn. Kody and Meri’s only child, Leon Brown, came out as transgender and said they would start using they/them pronouns this summer.
