After graduating from college, he began his career as a builder on the vast “Milano Due” project, which involved the construction of 4,000 residences to the east of Milan. He used the money he made from his first business to fund the start-up of Telemilano, a cable television company.

In 1973, Berlusconi established the humble cable TV company Telemilano to rise to prominence.
