CoD MW3 Release Date: MW3 Gameplay Trailer Unveiled at Gamescom 2023!

Call of Duty returns for a new year. The first-person shooter genre has been continuing strong for over 20 years, and the release of the next installment, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, has been set for 2023.

Activision recognizes that this is the pinnacle of first-person shooters by reintroducing the hated Vladimir Makarov. Many recurring characters from previous Call of Duty games will return in Modern Warfare 3, including Captain John Price, Sergeant John “Soap” MacTavish, and Private Simon “Ghost” Riley. It feels like we’re back in 2011.

Sledgehammer Games’ Modern Warfare 3 is a continuation of the relaunch of the Modern Ware subseries that took place between 2007 and 2011. It’s not entirely clear how the events of the first three Modern Warfare games fit into this narrative, but it’s essentially a new plot starring the same people.

When is the CoD MW3 Release Date?

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be released worldwide on November 10, 2023.

However, you can get some hands-on time with MW3 before it even launches, owing to upcoming open beta weekends. These are the timings and dates for the MW3 open beta weekends:

PS4/PS5 | 6th-7th October early access | 8th-10th October open beta

Open beta for PlayStation 4 and PC on October 12 and 13, with a cross-platform beta from October 14 to 16, and a full release on November 1. Pre-order customers are the only ones who may participate in the early access sessions. Everyone can participate in the open beta.

Is there a CoD MW3 trailer?

Activision has released many trailers for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. For your convenience, we have collected them all here. The first is a simple teaser trailer that announces the game’s existence. Captain Price provides some narration, and we catch a glimpse of Vladimir Makarov. This is where you may view it.

In August, as part of Gamescom 2023, a trailer revealing the game’s gameplay was released. In this version, many of the locales Price and his team would visit in their pursuit of Makarov are shown. The level preview for “No Russian” from the first MW2 game comes towards the conclusion. In the trailer, a cover of “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper” plays.
