After the May 2023 season finale of Not Dead Yet, ABC renewed the show for a second season. The network said the show will resume on May 16, 2023, just two weeks after the season finale’s two-part airing.

The WGA strike prevented any work on Not Dead Yet season 2 from beginning at the time of the announcement. Because to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, the only option is to prepare for the show’s eventual release and wait.

‘Not Dead Yet’ Season 2 Release Date

The second season of Not Dead Yet has been renewed by ABS for a shorter run, with the network planning to air the show as a midseason replacement. As a result, it would likely appear during the months of January 2024 and March 2024.

Even if the whole autumn 2023 schedule is being delayed due to the ongoing strikes by the Writers Guild of America and the Screen Actors Guild, there is still hope for Not Dead Yet season 2 because the original release date was set for 2024.
