There have been rumors of a relationship when fans spotted him with a woman in 2019, but Njoku has remained silent on the subject. Zuri, his daughter, is born in 2021, although he doesn’t know where she came from.

Njoku’s career in the NFL got off to a rocky start, in part because of his history of ailments. After missing much of the 2018 season with a broken wrist, he has already had to sit out a few games this year with a hamstring injury. It was in 2020, however, that he truly broke out, with 56 receptions for 639 yards and four scores.

Njoku is a multitalented tight end who can play in a variety of positions. He is a formidable downfield threat and an efficient blocker. He’s not quite there yet, but he has all the makings of a star tight end in the NFL. The Browns have extended Njoku’s contract through the 2023 season.
It’s uncertain if he’ll commit to a long-term deal with the Browns, but he’s an important cog in their offense and they probably won’t want to lose him. David Njoku, a superb 27-year-old athlete, has a cryptic public life.
