iPhone 14 has garnered a lot of interest among tech enthusiasts and has raised numerous questions such as will it be released in 2022 or what new features will Apple bring to the market this time?
Top Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has assessed that the upcoming lineup will feature four devices, including two upgraded ‘Pro’ models. And while nothing is official yet, there are plenty of reasonable predictions that we can examine.
So without further suspense, let’s get into the specifics of this upcoming iPhone and get an idea of the price, release date, notch, and design.
iPhone 14 Release Date
As of now, no new release date for the iPhone 14 has been revealed. We can expect to wait until the end of August of 2022. However, iPhone lovers can expect Apple to stick to its regular pattern and release its latest models in September’s second or third week.
Apple generally makes product information on Tuesdays. Pre-orders are essentially open on the Friday after the meeting for delivery a week later.
iPhone 14 Price
There is no official news on the price of the iPhone 14 as of now. But since the standard iPhone 13 starts at £679, $699, AUS1199, we could expect the iPhone 14 to demand a much similar price.
In the UK, the iPhone 13 had debuted at £20 less than the iPhone 12. Fingers crossed, the downward trend will continue, but that’s hopeful thinking if one rumour is to be believed.
While the standard iPhone 14 would be at $799, the much bigger 14 Max, would cost $100 extra few bucks, at $899, which is about £650, AU$1200. That would overstamp the price of the Pro model up to $1099, which is $100 extra than the $999 of the iPhone 13 Pro, current iPhone 13 Pro Max, giving it a price of $1199.
Chip
Every new iPhone model presented in the market includes a revised A-series chip, and the latest models are expected to have Apple’s A16 chip. The next-generation and all-new A-chip for the professional models are said to be created on TSMC’s “NP4” technique, which the company claims are the third most significant advancement of the 5-nanometer family.
iPhone 14 Design
Apple has revealed that the upcoming iPhone will be 6.1 inches, and the pro and pro max will be 6.7 inches each. There will be alterations in the Face Id Camera a. s well, and in addition to this, there will be some changes in the body’s design.
All the models will have an aluminium chassis, whereas iPhone 14 Pro models will have Titanium chassis. Apple has remarked that new models will not have a stainless steel body compared to previously launched models.

iPhone 14 Notch
As per some online information, It is rumoured that two iPhones will be notch-less. That is, iPhone pro models will have no notch, and as per several sources, the 14 may be the first one to be released without a gap since the iPhone X pioneered the new design back in 2017.
As per Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, now Apple will disregard the notch for a small hole-punch camera in the pro models of iPhone 14.
