In response to the “haters” who have attacked Michelle Trachtenberg’s looks in the last week, she has delivered a scathing defense.
Those who were worried about the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Gossip Girl” actress’s health took to social media on Friday to voice their disapproval.
“I’ve received several comments recently about my appearance,” she wrote in the caption of an Instagram selfie. “I have never had plastic surgery I am happy and healthy. Check yourself haters.”

he following day, Trachtenberg posted a similar message as a follow-up.
Interesting fact. Writing, “This is my face,” she shared her identity. “No problems, no malnutrition.”

Some people thought the New York-born performer was “malnourished” or had a “overactive thyroid” after she shared a selfie last week, which led to some curious remarks and, unintentionally, social media conjecture about her.
Trachtenberg asked a user why she looked “sick” in a recent photo, to which she replied: “Explain to me how I look sick.” Must have misplaced a calendar because I’m not fourteen years old. I’m at the age of 38. What a disappointing comment to make.
Actress Kristin Chenoweth was one of several who rallied behind Trachtenberg, telling her to “ignore the hate baby!”
“You’re GORGEOUS,” the “Wicked” and “Pushing Daisies” star wrote.
As Sarah Michelle Gellar’s Buffy Summers’s younger sister Dawn, Trachtenberg won over a generation of TV viewers over the last three seasons of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”
She had previously worked as a child actor. then first appeared on “Gossip Girl” in 2008 in a recurring role as Georgina Sparks, and then returned for the show’s 2008 HBO Max revival. “Meet, Marry, Murder” is a real crime documentary series that she took over hosting duties for in 2021.
