Daniil Medvedev Wife: Model Daria Medvedeva hails from Russia. Multiple websites state that she attended the Moscow State Institute of International Relations to study journalism there. When 2020 began, Medvedev had a rough go of it. He lost in the fourth round of the Australian Open and in the first round of indoor tournaments in both Rotterdam and Marseille. By the end of the year, Medvedev had gotten back on track and won the Paris Masters.
He defeated Alexander Zverev, Diego Schwartzman, and Novak Djokovic in straight sets at the ATP Finals. By doing so, Medvedev made history as the first player to defeat the top three players in the world at the ATP Finals. In 2021, he continued his success by competing in and reaching the final of the Australian Open, where he ultimately lost to Djokovic.
After winning the Open 13, Medvedev jumped to No. 2 in the ATP rankings, his highest position of the season.
