Podcasts

Alderton and Pandora Sykes co-created and co-hosted the show The High Low. A weekly podcast called “The High Low” discusses pop culture and current events. Throughout its four-year run, the podcast amassed more than 150 episodes. When the last episode aired in 2020 was on December 2. In promoting her book Everything I Know About Love, Alderton hosted the podcast Love Stories, where she spoke with a wide range of guests such as Stanley Tucci, Ruth Jones, and Marian Keyes. The first season premiered in February–May of 2018, and Season 2 will premiere in January–March 2019.

Alderton called it a “wonderful honor” to be featured in a Penguin article titled “Six amazing lessons I learned from Love Stories” in January 2019. Several popular podcasts have featured Alderton as a guest, including Off Menu with Ed Gamble and James Acaster, How to Fail with Elizabeth Day, and Table Manners with Jessie Ware.

Alderton and Caroline O’Donoghue created a spin-off series for the Sentimental Garbage podcast, Sentimental in the City, from February to April 2021.
