Platforms for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will only be available on the PlayStation 5. While Final Fantasy 7 Remake was originally released on the PlayStation 4, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will not be available on the platform as Square Enix focuses its efforts on the next generation of systems.
Square Enix has yet to announce whether a PC release of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is in the works, but with Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade now accessible on Steam, there is a good likelihood that Rebirth will follow suit.
Will the Final Fantasy 7 Remake be released on Xbox?
The topic of whether Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be released on Xbox platforms remains unresolved, but there is still hope. Final Fantasy 7 Remake and its sequel, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, are currently PlayStation system exclusives.
However, with the announcement that Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade has finally arrived on PC, the prospects of an Xbox Series X version have increased. Coupled with the fact that Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunion – a Remaster of the FF7 prequel in the Remake style – is coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X later this year, Square Enix could be laying the groundwork for a future release of Remake Intergrade on Microsoft platforms.
