They first met in 1997 through McKnight’s friend Kelly Phillips, who also happens to be the wife of actor Lou Diamond Phillips. LeBlanc asked her to marry him a year later.

Around the age of eight months, their daughter, born in 2004, began experiencing seizures. A sort of dysplasia that was thought to be present by the time she was two years old had mainly disappeared.
