Joe Manganiello broke the news of his split from Sofia Vergara months ago, and now he and his new girlfriend Caitlin O’Connor are Instagram officials.
Along with photos of himself and O’Connor, the 47-year-old actor posted a “week in review” to Instagram on February 18th. In September, Page Six captured Manganiello and O’Connor leaving the gym together, which led to the initial romantic links between the two.

Among Manganiello’s recent professional accomplishments, which he detailed in the caption of an Instagram photo, are his roles as host of Deal or No Deal Island and co-star in a music video.
“And celebrated Valentine’s Day with Tool & Caitlin…,” he said, adding a red love emoji to his description of his recent celebrations with his girlfriend. The Magic Mike actor shared a selfie with O’Connor, 34, at a Tool concert, and the subsequent three photos showcased his Valentine’s Day festivities.
A picture of Manganiello standing behind a red rose bouquet with black sunglasses and a grey suit was featured in the next shot. O’Connor, clad in a red minidress and a silver mesh blouse, poses for the last shot of the sequence beside the identical bouquet of flowers and a candy box.
At the 20th Children of Armenia Fund Gala in December, Manganiello and his girlfriend made their red carpet debut. Not long later, they shared their first Instagram post. They were both there at the January 25th Heaven Gala in Los Angeles for The Art of Elysium.
After seven years of marriage, Manganiello and Vergara announced their divorce two months before they were romantically linked. After much deliberation, Vergara and Manganiello announced their divorce in a statement that they published with Page Six in July.
“As we enter this next chapter of our lives together, as two people who love and care deeply for each other, we respectfully request that you honour our request for privacy.”
In her divorce petition, Manganiello stated that the pair had “irreconcilable differences” and was filed two days later. He said they had a prenup and that they separated on July 2nd.
Afterwards, Vergara and her attorney Troy Christiansen reportedly filed paperwork with the court to uphold the prenup, guaranteeing that she would be able to walk away from the marriage with her own money and property.
The star of Modern Family has been very forthcoming about her divorce ever since, most recently discussing the reasons behind the end of her marriage. In January, during an interview with El País, Vergara confirmed rumours that the reason for her and her ex-husband’s divorce was their “conflicting opinions” over having a family.
After ten years of marriage, I just filed for a divorce from my second husband. She explained that her marriage ended because her younger spouse wanted a family and she did not want to become an old mother.
The judge on America’s Got Talent has a son named Manolo Gonzalez Vergara from a prior marriage, however she has stated that she does not intend to have any more children. To the newborn, it doesn’t seem fair, she went on to say.
Whoever does it deserves respect, but I’m not interested anymore. I am prepared to be a grandma rather than a mother; I had a son when I was 19 and he is now 32 years old. Additionally, Vergara admitted that her future romantic partner “has to come with” their children if “love comes along” at some point.
Menopause is coming soon; it’s just the natural course of things, she continued. “I have to do what’s right for myself; when my son is a dad, he can stay with the baby for a while, and then I’ll return the responsibility to him and move on.”
