On Friday, July 8, 2020, in New York City, the heiress and her British banker husband, James Rothschild, had their first child, a daughter named Lily Grace Rothschild, according to PEOPLE.
Complete information about the couple’s growing family was verified to PEOPLE in January. Last July, the couple wed in an opulent ceremony at Kensington Palace in London.
Hilton Rothschild, 32, celebrated her pregnancy with not one but two elegant baby showers (Lily Grace Rothschild), one at the Waldorf Towers in New York City and the other at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles, both hosted by sister Paris Hilton.
She also took on the challenge of dressing her expanding baby belly with admirable ease and flair, eschewing most traditional maternity clothing in favor of flowing shirts and dresses.

She told PEOPLE at a New York City event in May, “I’ve just been buying clothes that are just a couple of sizes higher, and they work. In addition, Hilton Rothschild revealed in June that she had started rummaging through her mother’s closet and that the dress she wore to her New York City baby shower was “[Kathy’s] vintage Valentino,” even though she had caved and bought “one pair of pregnancy jeans, one pair of leggings, and one pair of workout leggings.”
The expectant mother shared a snapshot of herself posing in the peaceful nursery to give her social media followers a peek into her baby girl’s room.
She previously told PEOPLE about the nursery, which she created herself, “I love cats, so there are plenty of antique cat motifs and prints.”
